washington state
While here Sally and Michael came to visit at our camp site and broke bread with us and played Mex. train. I was having so much fun that I did not get a pic of Michael the first day they came. But got Sally on the second. It was great fun seeing them both again. We do not understand, but the are getting older.

When we arrived at the TT park in Wa. We knew they were full so we were told to unhook make a U-turn and proceed to the other side of the road to more spaces by the river. So we did as we were told, but the U-turn was way tighter than we imagined and Rog clipped the back end of the motorhome and caused some minor, but I am sure expensive repairs. He was so upset with himself because all he needed to do to avoid this was move one foot forward before he made his turn. The lights work. The ladder does not. But we move on and enjoy life as it comes. If the spot he made his U-turn had cars parked in it he would have gone around the other way through the main park and out, which would have been way easier and less damage to our rig.

The Alaska trip is over and we are on our own. We stayed 5 days in Cultus Lake Ca. It is a TT park and oh so pretty. We went to the Minter Gardens and had lunch. Rog looked it up on line and got a special deal. So we saw the 36 acre gardens and it was great. We came home and Rog wanted to check something on the slide out and it would not come in. Let me go back a couple of weeks and let you know that we had slide out problems on the passenger side of the coach and Rog bought a jump-starter and rigged things up so that the slide would go in and out, so now I have my bed again. Then the driver's side slide would not work. This one we needed help because it is

This is a camper that got too close to the edge of the road at Bear Lake. We were told that it has been there at least 3 yrs because the last time one of our tour guides came through it was there

on our way our of Stewart, Ca and Hyder, Ak we are driving out and the view was wonderful with glaciers everywhere. As we drove up to and by this area we thought we were seeing water flowing down, but as we got closer it was ice and snow falling from the glacier many feet above, maybe 2,000 ft. the whiter areas are where the ice and snow are falling. We were not able to park along this area to take really good pics. By the time we were able to park it was far away and the avalanche had slowed and then stopped. It was a great sight to see. The next pic is a small area and it had slowed down a lot and as we watched it stopped.

This is a hole in the wall eatery in Hyder, Ak. It had the best halibet in all of our travels in Ak. and Canada.
