Day 10 -15
We have not had internet for some time now and I am not sure I can get all done on this time, but will try. First I must tell you about our little hitch hiker from Montana. He had relatives in CA by the name of Mickey Mouse. We must say that if you do not come over the border with the proper passport it is not a pretty site. Needless to say he is no longer with us.

Day 9
We are on our way from Valemont BC to Prince George BC . The rain had started during the night and lasted most of the day. It was not a heavy rain and would stop ever now and then. We were driving in the clouds some of the time. Really an interesting trip. Along the way we met a bear. We were coming over this hill and there he was. When we first came upon him, he walked in the middle of the road and stood up on to legs looking at us, then decided to leave first going left then deciding right was better. We did see a moose and deer and two other bear, but I am learning to have the camera at my eye at all times so I can get the picture. I am told that there will be so many opportunities to come to get the pictures of the animals.
Day 9
We are leaving Valemont camp site heading for Prince George BC. It rained during the night and was over cast all day. I thought this picture told the story of our travels. I did not take
Day 8
The rainbow at Athabasca Falls is beautiful and of course the end was at the botton of the falls. The Athabasca River is forced into a narrow gorge. It is not a far drop, but forcing the water to come together in this small channel creates a lot of power and noise. Just a note the water in the Athabasca Rivers is heading to the Artic Ocean.
Day 8
This is a mountain goat and her little one . They come down from the rad cliffs of Mt Kitchener, 11.500 ft., to lick mineral deposits along the road.
Day 8
Sunwapta Falls We are standing on a bridge looking at the fall. The Sunwapta River is wide and big then is forced into a narrow canyon.
Day 8
On Rt. 1, Trans Canada Hwy. they have these bridges built just for the animals to cross. The roadway is fenced on both sides and the ramp leads to these bridges which are as wide as a two lane highway. The bridges are also fenced, planted in grass and some have trees planted on them. We did not see animals, but I think they are built so the animals can't see the road.
Day 8
This is weeping rock waterfalls are coming off the top and some are magically seeping fron the cliff face
Day 8
We are leaving the Icefield and on the road to Valemount BC, Canada to our next RV home. We are still in the Rockies and they are still beautiful as ever.
