It was a bit breezy so we decided not a good day for kayaking.  So we headed to dream some about new RV's.  The park has a RV show here from a local dealer.  They have between 20 to 30 RV's, from motorhomes, 5th wheels, to trailers. 

Rog thought this one was nice.  I was looking at 5th wheels.  We all left to our old RV's.

For lunch I got the stuff together to make a dish I got off Facebook from Sheri, our daughter-in-law.  It was a great success!!!  You should really try this.  You can also use different meats and things for stuffing. 
You will need: 
 Refrigerator buttermilk biscuits,
pepperoine
cheese
garlic powder
parmesan cheese
jar of pizza sauce
Take a biscuit and flatten it.  Place a pepperoni in the center.  Place a piece of cheese on the pepperoni.  Place another pepperoni.  Now fold the edges of the biscuit over the top of the pep and cheese to seal all the goodies in.  Place on baking sheet and sprinkle with garlic powder and parmesan cheese.  Place in 350 oven until done.  Serve with pizza sauce for dipping.     

Les is making one here.  Flatten biscuit now place the pepperoni, now for the cheese and so on.

Michelle has made a couple and is working on another.

Rog is using a fork instead of dipping as finger food.  Whatever floats your boat. 

Then we played more dominoes.

We slept in as much as we do and got a late start to the day.  We then headed out to the links to play a round.  Les was not wearing a shirt with a collar, but  lucked out because the marshals for the golf course were off for the day I guess.

Michelle had great form and played well.  We had a great time out and about in the nice weather.

We came back to camp and played some more dominoes.

Les, what can I say.  He counts his 15 dominoes out,  then places each one so he can see them in front of the trays.  Then places them in the tray.  He touches each and every dominoe three times just to get them in the tray.  He is not ready to play yet, but soon.   We have lots of time Les.  LOL

Michelle cooked us a great meal again.

Others are constructed oddly, such as the Orlando, Florida Odditorium which is built off-level as if the building is sinking.

The Orlando Odditorium is built as if the building is falling into a sink hole.  There are so many in Florida so why not?

We then went through the Odditorium.  The first thing I will write about are the hands on and photo ops.

  It tells you to grab the jewel inside the clown's mouth.  Notice the blur of Rog's hand.  He pulled it out so fast.  Without the jewel too.  LOL

When you walk in there are people floating in a pool and all you see are their legs and butts.  We thought the sign was funny.

Some "country" humor -

Curtis & Leroy saw an ad in the Starkville Daily in Starkville, MS. and bought a mule for $100. The selling farmer agreed to deliver the mule the next day. The next morning the farmer drove up and said,"Sorry, fellows, I have some bad news, the mule died last night."

Curtis & Leroy replied,"Well, then just give us our money back." The farmer said,"Can't do that. I went and spent it already." They said, "OK then, just bring us the dead mule."
The farmer asked, "What in the world ya'll gonna do with a dead mule?" Curtis said, "We gonna raffle him off." The farmer said, "You can't raffle off a dead mule!" Leroy said, "We shore can! Heck, we don't hafta tell nobody he's dead!"

A couple of weeks later, the farmer ran into Curtis & Leroy at the Piggly Wiggly grocery store and asked. "What'd you fellers ever do with that dead mule?" They said,"We raffled him off like we said we wuz gonna do." Leroy said,"Shucks, we sold 500 tickets fer two dollars apiece and made a profit of $998." The farmer said,"My Lord, didn't anyone complain?" Curtis said, "Well, the feller who won got upset. So we gave him his two dollars back."

Curtis and Leroy now work for the government.

They're overseeing the Bailout & Stimulus Programs.

 We stayed and bumped around the resort.  Walked up to the lodge and got the mail that we had delivered here at the resort.  Played dominoes with Les and Michelle.  Michelle and I are finding out that a bottle of wine really makes the game go better.  I did not say faster because Les does need to check it out or what ever he calls it.  I am just saying wine make us not care if Les is ready or not.  LOL   We have a great time playing our games.

Michelle made a great meal of chicken and noodles  and she picked out the most delicious apple pie from Public's Grocery store.

We are in the Clermont Thousand Trails Resort with our friends.  We spent most of the day playing dominoes and yelling at Les to hurry up already.  LOL  We cooked on the Bar B and had a meal together.  

It is late and I am tired because somebody took an hour away from me.  

  And life his too!!!!

Today we decided to start Spring cleaning a little early.  We took the curtains down that cover the windshield and side windows and washed them.  We decided they were very dirty and if washing ruined them so be it.  They turned out great and they smell so good.  
First we had to figure out how to get them down.  We started taking the little hooks down while the curtains were still up.  This was not easy and we had to be able to get this done better than this.  After looking it over we discovered a stop screw.  After removing it the little thingies came off really easy.

  Here you can see the hook thingy.  It has little rollers on one end to slide on the rod with the hook to attach to the loops on the curtains.

 Rog is taking down the material used to hold the curtains back while we travel down the road.  This is held to the wall by two screws.  When the curtains are pulled back the material raps around and is then held by Velcro.  They too are dirty and need to be washed.

 At one end of the curtain is a long rod that helps you pull the curtain completely around the entire windshield.  It is held there by a screw and nut through a grommet.  Needs to be off of there to wash.

This is the small rod that those little hook thingies with the small rollers go.  Job all done.

We got a call from our friends Michelle and Les saying they were in the Thousand Trails Resort and that there were many empty spaces.  We called the resort to see if we could come in a day early.  All is good and we loaded everything up, pulled up the jacks, slide in and off we go.  We are now in the TT resort all set up and ready for some fun with friends.

"Pass The Butter ... Please.

This is interesting . .. .

Margarine was originally manufactured to fatten turkeys. When it killed the turkeys, the people who had put all the money into the research wanted a payback so they put their heads together to figure out what to do with this product to get their money back.

It was a white substance with no food appeal so they added the yellow coloring and sold it to people to use in place of butter. How do you like it? They have come out with some clever new flavorings....

Both have the same amount of calories.
Butter is slightly higher in saturated fats at 8 grams; compared to 5 grams for margarine.

Eating margarine can increase heart disease in women by 53% over eating the same amount of butter, according to a recent Harvard Medical Study. 

Eating butter increases the absorption of many other nutrients in other foods.
Butter has many nutritional benefits where margarine has a few and only because they are added!

Butter tastes much better than margarine and it can enhance the flavors of other foods.

Butter has been around for centuries where margarine has been around for less than 100 years .

And now, for Margarine..

Very High in Trans fatty acids.

Triples risk of coronary heart disease ...

Increases total cholesterol and LDL (this is the bad cholesterol) and lowers HDL cholesterol, (the good cholesterol)

Increases the risk of cancers up to five times..

Lowers quality of breast milk

Decreases immune response.

Decreases insulin response.

And here's the most disturbing fact... HERE IS THE PART THAT IS VERY INTERESTING!

Margarine is but ONE MOLECULE away from being PLASTIC... and shares 27 ingredients with PAINT.

These facts alone were enough to have me avoiding margarine for life and anything else that is hydrogenated (this means hydrogen is added, changing the molecular structure of the substance).

Open a tub of margarine and leave it open in your garage or shaded area. Within a couple of days you will notice a couple of things:


* no flies, not even those pesky fruit flies will go near it (that should tell you something)


* it does not rot or smell differently because it has no nutritional value ; nothing will grow on it. Even those teeny weeny microorganisms will not a find a home to grow.

Why? Because it is nearly plastic . Would you melt your Tupperware and spread that on your toast?

Very interesting and important information for my peeps.


We stayed home today.  I cut Rog's hair.  Rog checked the water level in the in house batteries.  All is fine.  He did have to add some water, but that happens almost every time and is normal.  It is really beautiful out today.  It was a bit cool during the night, but just crank up the mattress heater and all is good.
