catipillars,birds, turtle, woodchuck kayaking

We stayed home and waxed the rig, well part of it anyway.  Man is it big.  We had company while we were busy.  These fuzzy guys stopped by, but did not help.

A turtle came up from the lake to get a bite to eat.  I was amazed to see that the turtle was digging, with his mouth, a worm, a big worm.
Eating a worm is a messy job. Does anyone have a napkin?  lol

Great Blue Heron on the River side of the campground.

A view from our site out at the lake this is the spot we launch our kayaks.

How much wood can a woodchuck chuck??  Well now we can ask him.

He did not stay around long enough for us to get an answer.

Out having fun on the lake in Arkansas.  I will put a big kayak heart sticker on the map for Arkansas.  We will go out again and I will get a pic of Rog.  I did this time, but I deleted him. bad me.  We are so impressed with the Corp of Engineer Campgrounds.
These are Snowy Egrets roosting for the night.  The tree is across the lake from us.  It is quite a site.
And a good night to all of you. A view across the river.
