new do/ flag/ 9-11 remembered

Got a hair cut today this is the before pic

The after pic.  I almost have the red out.  It is not so red looking because I go in the swimming pool and bleach it out. Notice Maggie in the corner?

We fly our nations fly where ever we park our RV.  Rog made a special flag pole and he lights the flag at night.  We recently purchased a new flag that is bigger and prettier than any of the other flags we have flown.  In honor of our new American Flag I have decided to blog about some interesting US flag facts.  The U.S. Flag adopted on June 14, 1777 is the fourth oldest national flag in the world.  Denmark’s flag, adopted in 1219 is the oldest.
A flag expert is called a “vexillologist
On Memorial Day to honor all who died in battle, the flag should be displayed at half-staff until noon only, and then raised to the top of the staff for the remainder of the day

Since 1834, the U.S. Flag has flown continuously next to the grave of Revolutionary War hero, the Marquis de Lafayette, near Paris, France.

We must always remember!!!!
